About

One instinct wearing three hats.

A coder's logic, a designer's eye, a photographer's instinct.

The same move runs through all three: find the one thing that matters, then remove everything else.

Abhisek BagariaCraft to VP
Abhisek brings a rare perspective to product design, combining the technical insight of a coder, the creative intuition of a designer, and the visual storytelling skills of a photographer. He applies fundamentals like the rule of thirds, leading lines and negative space, and is just as deliberate about light and shadow, crafting interfaces and presentations with a cinematic quality that makes them intuitive and visually compelling.

I came to design through things that had to run.

Before formal design training, I was already shipping full-stack. Robotics and robo-soccer gave me a bias for constraints, feedback loops and systems that either work or do not.

The design instinct did not replace the engineering one. It sharpened it. I still build the products myself under Studio Kunj, designed, built and shipped end to end, on my own.

The engineering degree came first. The design training came after the building habit was already there, and that order matters.

Interfaces are not pictures of intent. They are working systems that hold up under real use.

Apart from being a great UX leader, he is also a techie, which sets him apart. A rockstar problem solver.

The same edit, applied at the scale of millions.

I grew from the craft to Lead, Principal, AVP at 99acres and VP at Naukri over about nine years. The work changed scale, but the judgment stayed recognisable: leave only what people need, then make the organisation brave enough to ship it.

Leaders are measured by the success of their people.Culture is the operating system.

Designers other teams had written off came onto mine and, after real mentoring, turned into the highest-impact people on it. A few have gone on to senior design roles at larger product companies.

03 · The photographer's instinct

Start with chaos. Remove until the subject is undeniable.

Wildlife photography is not a separate life. It is the same instinct: wait, frame, subtract, and leave only the one thing worth seeing.

Awarded & featured

I start with a chaotic scene and remove until only the one thing worth seeing is left. That is why the photography earns its place here, not a hobby note at the end.

What ties it together.

The range is not scattered. It is one discipline pointed at different subjects: the system, the user, the animal in the frame, the team.

Right now I'm looking for a senior design-leadership seat, building AI-era products. The proof is in the work, and I'm just a message away.
